About Turkish Fir Pot Grown Christmas Trees

Closely related to the Nordmann Fir, the Turkish Fir is native to the Mount Ida region of north-west Turkey. Dense foliage produces a fuller appearance than the Nordmann Fir, with the soft green needle tips coming in a striking lime shade in spring before maturing to a darker green over the festive season, with a silvery underside that makes them gleam under twinkling lights. The needles are soft and waxy in texture, making them perfect for families with children and pets.

Strong branches are ideal for draping baubles and ornaments, holding them exactly where they should be, without any drooping. The branches have a unique layered appearance and the tree’s natural symmetry creates a polished look that is difficult to beat.

The tree will thrive indoors over the season with just a little water to keep the soil moist. When the festivities are over, place the tree in full sun or partial shade and water during dry spells.

The great advantage of a potted real Christmas tree is the notably low needle shedding rate. All our real Christmas trees, potted or cut, are grown in the UK on dedicated Christmas tree farms.

About Potted Trees

A pot-grown Christmas tree is an effortless way to create a traditional Christmas this year. Easy to decorate and even easier to maintain, the pot-grown tree is a brilliant way to bring a festive feeling to your garden.

Germinated and nurtured in the UK, each pot-grown Christmas tree is delivered in its own pot. If you keep your tree in its pot, remember to water it regularly to keep it looking fresh. Move the tree back outdoors after the festive period to keep your Christmas tree growing year on year.

Our trees are available in multiple sizes, from small dwarf trees that are ideal for table décor to large 6-foot potted Christmas trees. All these potted Christmas tree varieties are average or low shedding, meaning they’ll retain their waxy soft needles throughout the season.
